Kidsway

Kidsway – school years one to year six

Little Kidsway – three-year-olds to pre-primary

Kidsway and Little Kidsway usually run on all Sundays during school terms.

Kidsway and LKW exist for kids to learn about the Christian faith in a kid-friendly way. Using a variety of teaching methods, kids can explore who God is, what His plan is and how kids fit into His plan.

Our teaching consists of all types learning styles, using:

Video, Storytelling, Drama, Craft, Science, Music, Games, and Play.

Our experienced team work hard to provide a safe, friendly space for all children, including those with special needs to learn, explore, and grow in their faith.

Our purpose is to lead children to Love God and Love others. (Luke 10:27)

We believe that kids in church are not only the church of the future, they are very much a part of the church today. Older children are encouraged to consider how they can serve in ‘big church’ when they graduate.

All leaders have current "Working With Children Checks".

We serve God by loving His kids.

Bridgeley Youth Group

Bridgeley Youth Group is a faith based youth program, for students in years 7-12. We meet each Friday night during the school term from 7pm-9pm. BYG currently has around 50-60 young people who call BYG a place where they belong. There is a small fee of $5 which helps towards providing dinner, supper and other youth activities during the term. BYG provides a space for young people from around the Avon Valley region to connect and meet other young people.

MOPS

Mothers Of PreSchoolers welcomes all mums with babies, toddlers and preschool children. A MOPS group is an open, accepting place for mums to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope.

At a MOPS gathering, mums will hear speakers on relevant topics, share their hopes and experiences with other mums, and find friendship and encouragement in the early years of mothering.

While each group is different, a MOPS two-hour program consists of three main characteristics:

Welcome: MOPS is a place where you are accepted and valued, regardless of your personal experiences, background, birth place, religion or age.

Meeting: Child-free time* for YOU. Together with other mums, in a fun setting, learn something new about mothering or being a woman. Hear a speaker, watch a video, be creative …

Connection: Engage with other women, share experiences and dreams, explore ideas, have adult conversations and discover friendships.

* During MOPS meetings, children are cared for in the MOPS Kids program which includes indoor and outdoor play, singing, creative activities and stories (including age-appropriate Bible stories).

Playgroup

Playgroup is a warm, friendly place to bring your children along for some fun with craft, play and food. Share stories and make new friendships with other mums and children that attend. We currently offer two fortnightly sessions on a Friday morning, 9:00am or 10:30am. BYO fruit or lunch for your own children, along with a water bottle and hat.

Cost is $4.00, each child after is .50c

We look forward to seeing you.

Young Adults

The Bridgeley Young Adults meet Thursday nights from 7pm-9pm for Bible study as well as other social gatherings throughout the year. This group is designed for people aged 18-30.

For more information please contact Emma Bradbury at: emma.bradbury@bridgeley.org.au

Men's Chat Group

“Not THE footy oval”, but footy may get some airtime. We meet at 10.15am each Thursday in the Bridgeley Community Garden/shed area. We discuss many topics over a cuppa. A gold coin donation is the go each week, which covers our morning tea supplies and also subsidises our end of term lunch. We also support a charity group as the funds build up. Parking is at the rear of Bridgeley Community Centre.

Any enquiries, please ring Mal on 0419 903 513

The Coffee and Craft group meets each Thursday morning from 9.30 am until 11.00 am at Bridgeley Community Centre. Please bring along your own craft work or come along for a coffee and chat. A cuppa and bickie is supplied. Cost is $2.00 per week and everyone is very welcome.

Please contact Wendy on 0457 203 338 if you would like more information.

Ladies Coffee Nights

Theses nights are for women from our church and the community. An opportunity, for relationships to be made, for fun and for experiencing God (or in the words of the brochure - "fun, fellowship, coffee and cake.")

We choose a theme; have food, decor, games and activities to match. Finishing the night off with a message.

LCN: Coffee Break

This will happen on the first Friday of the month. It is an open house concept with coffee and muffins available from 1.30 - 3.00pm. No fancy games or decor. This is simply an opportunity to catch up and make deeper conversations and connections with local women.
